There is a crocodile who lives in the pond name "Fatty". Is seems it was big news when he caught a big cat fish.

Brian found a write-up on him somplace on the website.

Ahhhhhh - today was a total bust....I got so busy with work that, once again, by the time I remembered to check - it was dark.

UGH - maybe tomorrow will be better....

11:57pm Eastern The sun is now up and there is a herd of zebras!

FYI, though it is now fully in colour, from about 11:30 on it has been very clear, and actually started getting light a bit before that.

Kathi,

Don't feel bad -- I've yet to see anything but a few birds. Guess I'm going to have to stay up later or get up earlier. I watched a few of the videos on the site to at least see what everyone else is seeing!

Yesterday I saw a family of warthogs - they were SO CUTE!!! Today I saw an elephant family and a bunch of antelope (different types) right when it switched to black and white.

I'm totally hooked!!

Brian gets on at about 11:00 pm Eastern just about every night. 2 nights ago there were a TON of different animals. It's just dawn and it's so beatiful there.

I fell asleep the other night and he woke me up whispering "Kath..wake up". I woke up in a panic, convinced that someone was breaking into the house!! He actually just wanted be to look at a giraffe!!! My heart was pounding - but after I got over being terrified, it was nice to watch the giraffe drink!!
