Kat dahling, you know me so well. I have been mentally packing for several days now. I've revized the clothes I intend to bring a few times. I keep shopping to buy more. Laughing

I found some really cute things on sale. I got a rose colored Liz Clairborne velveteen jacket/blazer for $30, it was $99. Oh and of course it now sports a lovely fur collar.

I've been putting my outfits on the bed in the spare bed room. You know how much a cat hates a closed door. Rolling Eyes

I have an audience of 3 every time I come out of there. The suitcases haven't come out yet. It really does upset the little darlings.

Linda, thank you dahling, I really am looking forward to a trip where reality does not exist. I know we'll have a great time. I always have fun with my sweetie.

Thank you dahlings! I am ready to get to Las Vegas. The car is reserved (Quicksilver service) from Alamo. Our rooms are reserved, 4 nights at Mainstreet Station, 3 free, one for $50 and 4 nights at the Imperial Palace. All 4 nights are free at the IP. Not bad, 8 nights for $50. I'll probably have the last night comped off, so we should have a zero hotel balance.

I have shows in mind to see, We're seeing the Fab Four at the Aladdin and we'll go see Big Elvis more than once. Other shows will be determined by our willingness to leave the casino. We are going to gamble our brains out, I came home with every penny of my gambling money from the last trip in July so I am recycling my funds. Hopefully I can do the same again or even come out ahead.

We're going to Pahrump to look at property. It's just about time to buy an acre or so to have somewhere to build our home after we escape Michigan. We have a parcel of land in mind where everyone has at least an acre, so you aren't right on top of your neighbors, it has a great view of Mt. Charlston.

I am so looking forward to spending time with my sweetie. We have such a good time together. I am a lucky villainess to have such a wonderful man by my side.

I talked to my host yesterday and he is looking forward to seeing us again, we've gotten to be friends through the years. I am bringing him a couple dozen White Castle burgers that we'll buy on our way to the airport. He just loves them!

Thanks for all the good wishes! This trip is really what the doctor ordered, we need some time away from reality. What better place than Vegas? Oh.. well, there is that other place in Orlando. Wink

I can't wait to say, "welcome home", to my sweetie when the plane lands tomorrow night! We have window seats (one in front of the other) so we'll both have a great view of the Strip when we land.

Those burgers are on our must-do list. We plan to go Saturday for lunch. Smile

I am going to try for protein-style and animal-style all for the same burger. Will they let me do that? Maybe if I bat my eyes and threaten their puppies...

I'm so glad to hear you are looking at property. Vegas definitely sounds like the perfect place for your retirement!! It's never too soon to think ahead!
